I’m a first time mum to a beautiful baby boy aged 6 months. I’m obsessed with researching everything I buy and this is no less the case when it comes to my baby’s things! The only drawback is that researching is time consuming and I remember spending hours and hours on my laptop every night, while I was pregnant working out what I needed to buy.
That’s when I came up with the idea for this blog. Whilst there are plenty of great Mum blogs out there, I couldn’t find anything that provided really meaningful reviews for things that my baby would need from birth onwards. So Mummy Owl was born. I’m pregnant, what do I need when my baby arrives? My baby is ready for weaning, where do I start? These are just some of the types of questions that are answered in my blog.
If you are feeling as confused as I was about what to buy, I hope the reviews I share on here can help demystify some of that. In all of my reviews, I try to capture the most important details but also keep them relatively short and to the point, because we all have busy lives and want information that we can take in quickly.
I’d also like to stress that the reviews I share on my blog are completely and one hundred percent my own honest thoughts and opinions. I would never buy or recommend anything unless I genuinely believed it was a safe and good quality product for me and my baby. Also, any item that’s been reviewed by me on this blog has either been bought and paid for by me (in the vast majority of cases) or gifted to me by family and close friends. There’s absolutely no bias or agenda, nothing has been sponsored and no freebies (sadly)!
But most importantly, my reviews strongly focus on safety, convenience and the developmental milestones of my baby. This blog could help you if you just don’t have the time to research everything because you already have enough on your plate. Equally, even if you want to do your own research (if you’re anything like me) or you have different criteria, budgets and needs, my blog could still help you to navigate the world of baby products and highlight the key things to look out for, when considering your baby’s needs. I’m only at the beginning of my journey, but one thing I’ve quickly come to realise is that my baby never stops needing things!
